Bessie’s Best is a small, women-owned company based out of the greater Philadelphia area launched by a woman who created a nutrient-rich cookie to help struggling mothers produce enough milk to breastfeed.

Although the cookies were getting results, the company’s branding was missing the mark. Bessie’s Best was looking to upgrade their brand image to increase awareness, sales, and product placement. After rebranding, the company saw a dramatic increase in all of those areas and an invigorated social media audience.

After the successful launch and enormous growth of Bessie’s Best lactation cookies, the founder noticed an unexpected trend of both men and non-breastfeeding women purchasing their cookies because of the high protein and nutrient content, which contributed to overall health, fitness and muscle building.

The brand embraced their new followers by launching PUMPED Protein Cookies – a second product line targeted specifically at health-conscious men and women who sought the many benefits of the Bessie’s Best product, without the lactation-focused branding.
